I had a much better opportunity to photograph the transient dragonfly yesterday. The last photos were awful and I wasn't happy with them.
 
Three times he flew away and came back to the exact same blade of grass within a few moments. Each time I thought it was over but each time I got a little closer and the photos got better. These shots were taken no closer than five feet.

I was feeding Luna this morning and I saw our dragonfly again.  I say our dragonfly because he stops by our back yard about every other day and hangs out on the tops of the tall grass surrounding our pool.  Finally, I got some decent shots this time.  Still not great though.  They were taken through our sliding glass door.  You may see a reflection in the images.
